So i'm goofying off at work and realize for the umpteenth time that i've not updated this inna bit. well, all projects have taken the inevitable back seat as i got closer to my transfer date. i'm going to school before starting a new job. now i'm in limbo since one of my peers got a bad x-ray and was disqualified from going to sea. it looks as though i won't get released until my school actually starts. so, no downtime, no recharge, no creative "knit without thinking" experiments. all i got is whine maybe the crybaby gods will shine their favor on me
i can say i've got two parts of a scale handflower figured out. now if i can just make the scalemail stretchy. . . Sorry wondered off there. Back on subject, i look forward to having more time for devotion to this community as i head to shore. and i appreciate all y'all's support (i intentionally neglected to link the visitor map, i think it humbles me )

Though I didn't get a lot of time to knit, as I had hoped, I did get some new toys Now armed with Photoshop 6, I'll be getting back into drawing (now digitally). I discovered the joy of working with neoprene rings!! I'm very excited about the possibilities these stretchy little things will bring. The only knitting I actually got done was a 1 1/2 inch e4-1 bracelet with the neoprene rings and it is the root of my excitement. I'll have a pic up as soon as I upload a good one

inspections at work are passed and done and two weeks of family time is just two days away with the kids still in school for another week i'll be posting more projects as they get finished.
