this is one of those exercises in overcoming early errors. i made the chain with too open a weave or too thin a wire, depending on how you look at it. anyhow, since i have a fair amount of beads laying around, i strung a series of pearly ones through the middle. it has gotten some wear through the years and needs repair where i overlapped it for the picture
